One of the first images taken with me 1971 Hasselblad 500c was my son eating his breakfast, well Batman eating breakfast to be exact. Some beautiful natural light from our large dining room window was perfect and he kept gazing outside every now and then. I’ve got into a habit of using Fomapan 100 as a first roll when I get a new camera, my reason being is I now know how it performs, its nice and cheap if there is a light leak and its quick and easy to develop at home.
Into the darkroom – (the bathroom)
This was my first time using the JOBO C6600 enlarger which came with a Nikkor 50mm F4 enlarger lens and also my first time using Ilford Multigrade RC Pearl paper. I had to burn down the left hand side of the image a little for approx 5 seconds because the light was a little distracting. I’m really happy how it came out and yet again the Ilford products never let me down. I cropped the original image to crop out the table. I would love to hear what everyone thinks of the final image and the YouTube video.
I love how the final print came out. Hope you all enjoyed the video.
The final print
The print is stunning, its hard to capture the quality on camera, it’s just beautiful and I’m really happy with it.
