Description
‘Footsteps on Bamburgh Castle beach’ this image of Bamburgh Castle won me my first ever professional trophy ”J H Leighton Pictorial Trophy” and the “Print Of The Year Trophy”. People have described it as like an oil painting, how the colours look amazing. There is a line of footprints leading through the image from approximately a quarter up the image towards the left, which were actually some other photographers that just walked in through my shot, but I think their remaining footprints add to the image. This was a sunrise shot aimed at capturing those beautiful subtle golden colours on the sides of the castle.
Bamburgh Castle has stood on the spectacular Northumberland coastline for over 1,400 years and still looks so amazing!
