So we are in lockdown due to COVID-19 and it’s the ideal time to try out some large format portraits with the kids in the back garden. Here’s the process of capturing a 4×5 photograph of my daughter Rosie just before her 10th birthday.
I used my 1950’s Mpp Micro Technical mkVI with the Wray London Lustrar f4.5 184mm Lens. My film choice was Fomapan 100.
Here’s how I got on….
It’s crazy to think that the 4×5 negatives are nearly 15 times bigger than 35mm. The full size scan of this image is just beautiful.
